Straightforward terms for focused work.
These terms describe the basic agreement for people who create or join a feature-refinement session, including the free preview and connected services.

Using Refinements
You may use the service to draft, discuss, refine, and export work that you are allowed to share. You are responsible for your account, invitations, exported documents, and the decisions your team makes from AI-assisted output.
Hosts and guests
The person who creates a session is its host. A host may use the free preview before starting a paid plan. Invited guests join the host's session without a paid seat. During Grill, one participant acts as operator while the rest of the team follows live. The host is responsible for controlling invitations and private join links.
Preview, trial, and subscription
The free preview is available once per account and does not require a card. It covers one host-created session, three AI reviews, and one Grill round. Writing the refined ticket, creating a second session, and Google Drive export require the host to start the 7-day trial with a valid payment method.
Unless the host cancels before the trial ends, the subscription begins at EUR 29 per month and renews monthly until cancelled. Guests remain free. The checkout screen shows the charge before the host confirms the trial.
Your content
You keep your rights to the content you bring into a session and the output your team creates. You give us the limited permission needed to process that content and operate the session. Export is the only way to keep the results. Export before you close the session or the 24-hour inactivity window ends.
Acceptable use
Do not use Refinements to break the law, infringe another person's rights, upload malicious material, bypass access controls, disrupt the service, or attempt to extract other customers' data.
AI and your content
When you use an AI feature, you authorize Refinements to send the relevant document text, instructions, session context, and Grill answers to OpenRouter and the model provider it routes to. Their separate terms and data practices apply. Refinements does not promise that every model provider has the same retention or training policy.
AI suggestions, questions, and refined-ticket proposals can be incomplete or incorrect. Your team must review them before relying on or exporting the result. Refinements does not make product, legal, security, or architecture decisions on your behalf.
Exports and connected services
HTML and Markdown downloads leave Refinements and remain wherever you save them. Google Drive export uses the limited drive.file scope to create the exported HTML file in your Drive. That file remains in Google Drive until you remove it there, even after the Refinements session is deleted.
If a host asks Refinements to send an invitation, Resend processes the recipient address, session title, and private join link to deliver the e-mail. You must have a valid reason to contact the recipient and permission to share the session with them.
Session deletion
Refinements deletes session content when the host closes the session or automatically after 24 hours of inactivity. Export anything the team needs before that point. This deletion does not remove exported files or data that a connected provider processes under its own retention policy.
Availability and liability
We work to keep the service dependable but cannot promise uninterrupted availability. To the extent permitted by law, Refinements is provided without implied warranties and our liability is limited to the fees you paid for the service in the prior three months.
